Yousaf has extensive experience within secondary care, having worked primarily in large acute health boards in Scotland and in the Middle East. She graduated from the University of Malaya in 2018 with her Ph.D. degree in Evidence-Based Pharmacotherapy (Antibiotic De-escalation). She obtained her Board of Pharmacy Specialist (Pharmacotherapy), US certificate in 2013. She has been awarded Subject Matter Expert recognition in Infectious Diseases from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. At the Pharmacy Department HKL, she is coordinating a few committees such as antimicrobial stewardship, clinical pharmacy services, research and development, and others. Navin Kumar Loganadan, Dr.
Endocrine Institute, Hospital Putrajaya Dr. Navin Kumar Loganadan is the Head of Specialist Clinic Pharmacy & Diabetes Medication Therapy Adherence Clinic at Putrajaya Hospital, Malaysia. With 16 years' experience as a Diabetes Care Clinical Pharmacist, he manages medication-related issues for type 2 diabetes patients. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons), a Master of Clinical Pharmacy, and a Ph.D. in pharmacogenomics of antidiabetic therapy. He's Chair of the Diabetes Clinical Pharmacy Subcommittee, Ministry of Health, Malaysia, and a member of the hospital's Endocrine Team. Dr. Navin's research focuses on diabetes management, pharmacogenomics, and clinical response to antidiabetic therapy, presented internationally and awarded the 'Next Generation Scientist Award 2016 by the University of Basel, Switzerland. He has also served as the Expert Advisor for the Practice Transformation Programme – Diabetes by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) from 2021 to 2023 and contributed to its publication – Diabetes Prevention, Screening and Management: A Handbook for Pharmacists.
Abu Bakar Abdul Majeed, Prof. Dato' Dr.
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Abu Bakar Abdul Majeed holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from El-Zagazig University (1983), a PhD in Neurophysiology from Sheffield University (1988), and an MBA from Universiti Sains Malaysia (1996). He was a visiting scientist at RIKEN, Japan (1992-1993). Abu Bakar served as Dean of Pharmacy, UiTM (2002), Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Research (2009-2014), and Rector of UiTM Selangor (2017). He's a Registered Pharmacist, served on Malaysia's Board of Pharmacy, and chaired the National Bioethics Council (2016-2018). Abu Bakar authored over 20 books, 100 research articles, focusing on Alzheimer’s, drug delivery to the brain, and bioethics. He won the prestigious 2023 Helen-Clark-JoPPP Award.

Chia-Ning Shen, Prof
Genomics Research Center, Academia Sinica Dr. Chia-Ning Shen, a research fellow at Academia Sinica, specializes in regenerative medicine, cancer biology, and metabolism. He earned his PhD from the University of Bath in 2002 and joined Academia Sinica in 2004. Shen's research focuses on somatic cell reprogramming and developing therapies for cancer and metabolic diseases. He has published over 90 articles, served as president of Taiwan Society for Stem Cell Research, and in 2023 was elected President of Taiwan Association for Cellular Therapy. In July 2023, Shen co-founded CellTech Innovation Venture Studio to promote gene and cell therapeutic startups.
Yusi Anggriani, Prof
Universitas Pancasila Yusi Anggriani is a Professor in the Clinical and Community Pharmacy at Universitas Pancasila in Jakarta Indonesia. She is currently the director of the Centre for Pharmaceutical Policy and Services Studies (CEPHAS). She has experience working with the Ministry of Health, the Indonesian Food and Drug Agency, The National Health Insurance Bureau, and other National institutions for around 20 years in medicine access and pharmaceutical policy. She has been appointed as a member of the National Pricing Experts Committee. She also has experience conducting research on access to medicines, including medicine pricing policy with the World Health Organization and United Nations Development Program, Health Action International, and other international universities.
Ahmad Fuad Shamsuddin, Prof Dr
Faculty of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak Prof Ahmad Fuad Shamsuddin has more than 30 years of academic and research experience. He was a hospital pharmacist with USM Hospital (HUSM) in Kubang Kerian. He is one of the pioneers in parenteral nutrition services in Malaysia and started the first nutrition support rounds in HUSM in the early nineties. He joined UKM as an academician and obtained his PhD in 2000 from University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. Upon returning to Malaysia, one of his notable works was his recommendation for the first cyclic parenteral nutrition regimen in a patient in Hospital UKM in 2002. He left UKM for UniKL and is now the dean for the Faculty of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak. He is now pioneering sport pharmacy in both practice and research. He is also a member of the Malaysian Board of Pharmacy and the present chairman for the Anti-Doping Education Committee for the Anti-Doping Agency of Malaysia (ADAMAS).
Chew Lee Ping, Dr
Sarawak General Hospital Dr Chew Lee Ping is a consultant haematologist practising in Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching since 2009. Graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1999, she attained MRCP(UK) in 2003. In the years to follow, she embarked on her speciality training in Haematology at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne for a year. Her area of expertise includes malignant and non-malignant blood disorders. She believes embarking on trials is like a useful hobby in MOH that can improve patients’ outcome and hence she is an active principle investigator in many multicentre clinical trials, particularly in lymphoma treatment and red blood cell disorders since 2009.
Yeo Tiong Chia, Dato Dr
Sarawak Biodiversity Centre Dato Dr. Yeo has served as the CEO of the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) since 2014. He received his PhD in Immunology from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2000. Under Dato Dr. Yeo's leadership, SBC has experienced significant development and aims to catalyse the growth of the bioindustry in Sarawak including natural products research for pharmaceutical development.
Ivan K. S. Yap, Assoc Prof
Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre Assoc Prof. Ivan K. S. Yap specializes in precision medicine and phenomics applied to infectious and cardiovascular diseases. He conducted metabonomics research at Imperial College London (2005-2010) on the impact of diet, activity, and lifestyle on cardiovascular health and infectious disease metabolism. Returning to Malaysia, he lectured at the International Medical University, later becoming Head of the Life Science Department and establishing the Centre of Translational Research. He worked as a Translational Research Scientist at the Clinical Research Centre Sarawak General Hospital, then as Deputy General Manager at the Sarawak Research and Development Council. In 2023, he became CEO of the Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre, collaborating internationally in phenome and microbiome research.

Dianah binti Abd Hadi, Dr
Hospital Tunku Azizah Kuala Lumpur Dr. Dianah worked as a general paediatrician previously and was involved with Malaysian Clinical Practice Guideline for Dengue in Children in 2020. She continued to pursue her sub specialty training where she completed her paediatric neurology training in Malaysia followed by a year of fellowship in paediatric movement disorder at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, Australia. She currently works as a paediatric neurologist at Hospital Tunku Azizah Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with special interest in movement disorder and neuromuscular diseases. She is also involved as the sub investigator for the STEER study and the principal investigator for the SPECTRUM study for patients with SMA in her current hospital.

Yvonne Lim Mei Fong, Dr
Institute for Clinical Research, National Institutes of Health, Malaysia From 2014 to 2016, she pursued a Master of Information Systems at the National University of Malaysia under a scholarship from the Ministry of Health. Then, she participated as a fellow in the 50th International Ten-day Teaching Seminar on Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Prevent in Goa, India in 2018 and this has sparked an interest in cardiovascular research. In March 2019, Yvonne started as a PhD candidate at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU) under the supervision of Prof. dr. Folkert W Asselbergs, Prof. dr. Diederick E Grobbee, dr. Ilonca Vaartjes and dr. Stefan Koudstaal. The research project is funded by BigData@Heart and the UMCU Global Health Support Program; it represents work to understand and improve generalizability of heart failure trials based on data from Europe, Malaysia as well as other parts of Asia. During the PhD program, she completed a post-graduate Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology in 2022. Currently, she works as a researcher at the Institute for Clinical Research, National Institutes of Health, Malaysia focusing on atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Ling Jia Nee, Dr
Sarawak General Hospital & Sarawak Heart Centre Dr Jia Nee is a Geriatrician who is currently practising at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and Sarawak Heart Centre. She has completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate training in Malaysia and worked briefly with Geriatric team at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore before returning to Malaysia. Throughout her years of training, Dr Jia Nee has served as an adjunct lecturer in numerous institutions , with the latest attachment with Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Dr Jia Nee has a keen interest in peri operative geriatric medicine, community geriatrics, Telegeriatrics, and geriatric palliative care. Her recent contribution includes the initiation of fracture liaison services in Sarawak General Hospital, and a few hospitals in Sarawak.
Fatkhiah binti Haji Khalil, Mdm
Pharmaceutical Services Programme, Ministry of Health Malaysia Fatkhiah Haji Khalil is the Deputy Director of the Medicine Price Management, Pharmacy Practice and Development division under the Pharmaceutical Services Programme at the Ministry of Health (MOH), Malaysia . She earned her first Degree of Pharmacy in 1994 at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her significant credibility in various fields with broad knowledge not only in medicine price management, but also in pharmacy enforcement as well as information technology and informatics. Her leadership and commitment are recognized both nationally and internationally. She plays a key role in policy-making, contributing to the Country Core Group of Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage (2020 - current) and serving as a speaker at major forums like the Asia-Pacific Network on Access to Medicine. She also contributed to the World Bank's Guide On Purchasing High-Cost Medicines (2021 -2022). Mohammad Rizalmazli bin Salim, Mr
Pharmacy Enforcement Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia Mohammad Rizalmazli bin Salim is a senior principal assistant director at the Pharmacy Enforcement Division of the Ministry of Health. Mr Rizalmazli has almost 16 years of experience in Pharmacy Enforcement. Mr Rizalmazli has been the head of the Chemical Forensics Section under the Pharmacy Forensics Branch since 2018. The Section is involved in analyzing illegal, counterfeit and adulterated medicine. This section also analyses the physical appearance of pharmaceutical products, including the hologram security label for product authentication. Mr. Rizalmazli is also the WHO Rapid Alert focal point for substandard and falsified medical products in Malaysia.
Nur’Ain Shuhaila binti Shohaimi, Mdm
Pharmaceutical Services Programme, Ministry of Health Malaysia Nur'Ain Shuhaila Bt Shohaimi, a pharmacist who graduated from University Sains Malaysia in 1996, is the Deputy Director of the Pharmacy Policy & Strategic Planning Division at the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She oversees the implementation of the Malaysian National Medicines Policy (DUNas) and contributes to pharmaceutical policy development, including access to Hepatitis C medicines and outsourcing of medicines to community pharmacies. She is a member of the WHO Technical Advisory Group on Pricing Policies for Medicines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she coordinated the supply and distribution of vaccines for Malaysia's Immunization Programme.
Nor Hafizah binti Mohd Potri, Ms
National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) Ms. Nor Hafizah Binti Mohd Potri is a Senior Principal Assistant Director (Pharmacist) at the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Section, Centre for Compliance and Quality Control, National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA). She oversees GDP activities related to importer and wholesaler facilities. She began her career as a GMP Inspector in 2004 and became a Lead Inspector in 2009, conducting inspections on both local and foreign facilities.
