What To Submit In Your Manuscript
Scope of the Journal
The Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy publishes original research articles, review papers, case reports, short communications, and letters to the editor in all areas related to:

Pharmacy practice

Clinical pharmacy
-
Pharmaceutical sciences
-
Pharmacology
-
Public health and medical sciences related to pharmacy
-
Healthcare policy and medicines management
-
Any medical, health, and medicine-related topics relevant to the pharmacy profession
Submission Checklist
Before submission, ensure the following:

Manuscript is written in English.
-
All sections are included: Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Main text, References, Tables, Figures (if any), and Appendices (if any).

The file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.(example click here)
-
Figures are in JPEG or PNG format, at least 300 dpi.
-
References follow Vancouver referencing style.
-
All authors have approved the submission.
-
A cover letter is included, stating the manuscript type and a brief summary of findings.
Manuscript Format
Title Page

Article title (concise and informative)

Full names of all authors and their affiliations

Corresponding author’s name, affiliation, address, email, and phone number
Abstract (≤ 350 words)

Structured: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion

3–6 keywords
Main Text
-
Original articles: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References

Review articles: Introduction, Main body (with subheadings), Conclusion
-
Case reports: Introduction, Case presentation, Discussion, Conclusion
-
Short communications: Brief Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion
Tables and Figures

Number consecutively (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.)

Provide titles and legends
References – Vancouver Style
-
Number references in the order they appear in the text
-
Use superscript numbers in the text (e.g., “…as reported previously¹.”)

Journal abbreviations should follow the Index Medicus style
